1 Conditions of Submission & Workflow
Submissions to the Indian Journal of Academic Pharmaceutical Sciences (IJAPS) are accepted through our online submission portal. The submitting author acts as the corresponding author on behalf of all co-authors and is required to provide complete details including working email address, institutional affiliation, phone number, and mailing address.
- Originality: Manuscripts must be original, unpublished work not currently under consideration by any other journal.
- Copyright & Open Access: Authors retain copyright under the Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial 4.0 License (CC-BY-NC).
- Double-Blind Peer Review: To ensure completely objective evaluation, authors must prepare a separate Title Page File and a Blinded Main Manuscript File (with author identities omitted).

4 Manuscript Formatting & File Organization
General Page Formatting
- File Format: Microsoft Word (`.doc` or `.docx`).
- Page Setup: Standard A4, 1-inch (2.54 cm) margins on all sides.
- Typography: Times New Roman, 12 pt font size, 1.5 line spacing.
- Pagination: Continuous page numbers placed at the bottom center.
File 1: Title Page Document
- Full article title & Running Title (under 50 characters).
- Full author names (First, Middle, Last) with numerical superscripts.
- Departmental & Institutional affiliations for all co-authors.
- Corresponding author details: Postal address, phone, email, ORCID iD.
- Acknowledgments & Funding disclosures.
5 Sectional Guidelines for Main Manuscript
The abstract (max 250 words) for original articles must contain 4 subheadings: Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusion. Followed by 3 to 6 keywords selected from standard Medical Subject Headings (MeSH).
Concise background review of the research field, existing literature gaps, and explicitly stated research objectives.
Detailed protocol enabling reproducibility. Specify purity/grade of chemicals, manufacturer details of instruments, statistical tests, and ethical approval reference numbers.
Logical presentation of factual experimental data with tables and figures, followed by scientific interpretation, mechanisms, and comparison with published literature.
Concise summary of major findings, academic significance, and future scope.
6 Ethical Clearances, Plagiarism & Mandatory Declarations
Animal research requires Institutional Animal Ethics Committee (IAEC / CCSEA) approval. Human research must follow the Helsinki Declaration with signed informed consent.
Manuscripts are screened upon submission. Similarity index must not exceed 15% (excluding references). Unannounced AI text generation is strictly prohibited.
Every manuscript must end with: Conflict of Interest statement, Funding Agency & Grant details, and Data Availability statement.
7 Reference Style (Vancouver System)
Cite references consecutively in numerical order in square brackets `[1]` as they appear in the text.
